One in ten women have Endometriosis. From statistics, you know at least one who is affected. To spread awareness and give insight to this chronic illness I decided to make a Magazine and Website focusing on the affected women.

For the Magazine I interviewed nine affected women who suffer from Endometriosis and four who were indirectly connected to the illness – partners, family and friends. They talk about their daily struggles, ups and downs and how to deal with pain and gain mental strength. The interviews resulted in 14 hours of talking, which was transcript into 14.000 signs. The difficulty was to filter the main saying without skipping an important message.
Other Projects
The Magazine includes information, facts and debunks myths about Endometriosis.
Five women were interviewed to show their life with this illness.
Icons were made to show the different Symptoms and indicate pain areas with a red blur. They were created with a grid with geometric shapes as their basis.
